Sometimes you never know why u did something, but then one day you glad that you did.

Reading back my post in 2011,

now im kinda regret that i din write more about my 2011 resolution.

Writing it down so that you can never forget it.

Used to care long posts without photos bores people, now who cares?

However, I gotta say that I was wrong about something.

I thought been away from writing for a while makes me kinda speechless when i wanted to say something.

What I just realized is that its not about the time,

its the crowd.

I guess after all Im the kind of kids of who follow the wind.

Explanation and Toleration have got me SO SO WORN OUT this year.

You don't know how much pressure you have on your shoulder,

until you woke up from a bad dream in the middle of the night

where you clenched your fists so hard

and your shoulder is so tensed up that air could barely squeeze into your mouth.

LETTING GO.

LOOSEN UP.

Rule number 1 in my 2012 resolution.

well, to those who don't understand.

just tell them. forgive my lack of words.

FUCK YOU.

Really.people these days are just wanna get they want in whatever way.

Theres no patience in my balanced diet.

Im proud with that either cuz time is precious.

it's for people who deserved them.

or what i should learn better : it's for people whom u wanna be with.

Checked most of the resolution i made this year, but one :

Blog Monthly.

but it's alrite.Plan changed.

I've changed.

Don't quite like how i've turned to eventually, but i haven have enough rooms to think.

Time pushes my walking bodies like water running down a waterfall.

Sometimes u just feel..numb.

People just keep wanting things from you yet don't feel like they qualify what they asked for.

How can people get smarter and dumber at the same time?

Sky is my only answer.

What im really really glad in this transition year is that

i've been to many places with/met many many cool/cute people.

Raub, Cameron Highland, Bukit Fraser, Sunway Lagoon, Perlis, Zoo Taiping,

places to drink (Library, 69 Mansion)

special places to dine in (Hard Rock, Beef Station n LOTS more)

A big chance not revisiting those places

cuz time is really not kind enough and maybe i just don't want to. =P

Thank you for all those who have been on the same board as me.

Memories locked up, so are my photos in my external hard disc.

It's a nice covering year with

Lob the elephant (=P) , Jackie the piranha and Lek the hamster.

Next year should be seeing more youtube videos update in SLM(my blog) than posts.

for the competitions that open up our singing world,

the job that i kinda liked it,

and the trip that broaden our minds. (maybe not yours lar) =P

It’s really sweet to be part of the wedding ceremony.

think i've balanced myself here this year.

Im putting a stop to all the unhappiness and unsatisfactory.

Bought a ticket to Hong Kong. Again i know.

but this time is really to travel instead of just hanging around in Disneyland.

Have planned to go beach for yearSSSS, 2012 is going to finally realized it.

going to backpack in Singapore too.

If we are lucky, able to go to Taiwan and Taman Negara as well.

Life is just sooooo COOL~~~

Good Morning homo sapienz!!

I woke up at 5am yesterday just to join Hike’s photography class.

took the 1st train straight up 2 Bukit Bendara.

The train was faster now of course.

Don’t have to change your train half way now.

I wonder izit the first day they reopened Bkt. Bendera.

So this is what we saw.

So You Thought You’ve Tasted The Best Cake?

Secret recipe? Manila Place?? Austin Chase???

Nawww..!!

Let me tell you what.

You haven tasted the best cake in M’sia until you have been to this heavenly place for your tongue in Malacca.

Open your eyes and mouth BIG WIDE.

These are not just ordinary cakes.

They are MILLE CREPE,the only kind of thousand layered cake sold in NADEJE.

only 2 shops operating there now.

It’s the other reason for all of us to travel from all different states to Malacca.

Ok. Student,wear you glasses.

it’s time for lecture.

“Mille” means a thousand layer in French while “Crepe” means curled.(i have no idea why)

They say you can feel the “thousand” layered melt in your mouth right after you put the cake inside your mouth,

i say they over exaggerated.

but it’s really the BEST cake i’ve ever tasted.

it just tastes sooooo FRESH!

containing cream yet you won’t feel disgust by it.

everything is just at its right amount. and guess what?

it’s only rm7.50/piece!

I’ve totally forgotten the price when we’ve put our finger on the cold plate of it.

I’ve always thought of secret recipe when it comes to cake,and now it’s changed.

HEY! you gonna believe what the cake-kaholic says ok?? LOLZ!

How does it really taste like??

Well.. it’s better if “YAM” ping shows you how YUM-my it is.

His yamness= the cake’s yumness.

It was close to my brother and friend’s birthday when we visit there.

So we gave them not-surprise-at-all’s surprise there.

But they gonna blow the candles at the speed of the wind else it’d affects the freshness of the cake.

After we are back from Malacca, we’ve heard that Austin Chase is selling mille crepe too.

So we gave it shot.

I’ve tasted mille crepe thrice so far.

And i remember the tastes of them all perfectly.

Austin Chase definitely got their cakes from Humble Beginning.

i only feel like im eating a thousand layer of plastic with cream applied on it.

Floating Market in Hatyai, Thailand

I never knew the existence of a floating market in Hatyai.

(aka Khong Hae Floating Market or Klonghae Floating Market)

Until this CNY, my mum was superb thrilled bringing us there.

Our luck, it wasn’t really crowded when we got into Hatyai.

Opened since 2008.

The market is located 4km from the town of Hatyai.

NOTICE! it is ONLY open from Friday-Sunday,from 3pm-9pm.

We were rushing home that day so we went as early as possible.

Most of them were just setting up when we got there.

We spent bout 45 mins hunting for food by the river first before we went to the other section on land.

The food is just so mouth-watering.

I didnt expect it to be this delicious after spending days in town. =P

Just look at my sis’s expression below.

LMAO!

Of course they served fried insects as well.

I still haven try it. Shall try it next time.

You know what is the best thing in this small market?

The food is sooooo freaking CHEAP!

It’s like 20 thai baht (Rm2) only!

You can still bring the cute porcelain and bamboo home after you’ve finished it.

This is how they pass the food and money.

There are about 100 stalls there.

Some say they have souvenirs cheaper than the ones in town.

But things there look no difference to me than the ones in M’sia.

So i went home empty but with a big tummy. =P

So pay a visit there if you are planning to go to Hatyai,

just like how i will. =)

My last trip to Malacca was a bless.

Not only that i get to explore the beauty of Malacca in a different way,

but i have also heard SHOCKING story and been to great places!

First , wanna know one of the reason that drives us all from different cities to Malacca? =)

The owner who is also a singer there got voice that just makes you feel like you’re in a dreamland.

It’s a perfect getaway.Clearing your mind.

If you’ve heard of “LOVE!” by hebe or “过敏” by 杨丞琳 and more,

her name should sounds familiar cuz she wrote all of them.

we were lucky that night.

we heard the song soon might be be covered in Hebe’s latest album.

till now all my friends still hitting repeat button playing that song.

In the wake of 2010,

I thought i walked myself into AIMST with the fallen leaves in autumn.

Got stuck in a jungle where nobody hears you.

Trowing pebbles into the lake is the only entertainment that makes you feel alive.

Silence speaks so loud that it covers the voices from your heart.

Living inside a box should be the way the world goes round.

That was the worst and horrible thought i ever had...

I cant remember when did it all started.

The birds started singing to me and the flowers kept smiling at me.

I just lost track of time humming with the birds.

Everyday is like a Valentine, a Chinese New Year and a Christmas to me.

Listing only 3 memorable things here?

No...

No!

How could i?

Memory is at every corners.

Study area...

Libary...

Love lane..

Cafe..

Hostel..

Even a single dot brings a memory,a lesson..

and a beautiful story lives somewhere back in the corner of our minds.

I will never forget the christmas party we threw.

I will never forget how we rocked Nerd Day together, ignoring all the stupid glances.

In the wake of 2011,

I realized I walked into AIMST with blossoms in spring.

Living in a peaceful place where people hear your whispering thoughts.

Throwing pebbles is actually something fun.

Silence is there, so what? we have our times.

Living in the box?

NAH! One day you'll see what we are capable of when we decided to torn the box down.

I was enchanted to be in AIMST.

That was the slight modified version of my essay in exam paper.

I almost broke into tears after I wrote the 1st sentence.

LOLZ!

For 8 years in my life,

I thought i've lost my tears duct.

This is just too much for a year..

I am not what you thought i am anymore.

In the end, i wrote this in pencil.

"This is more than an essay. You cant give marks for our walks in life.

M'sia Festiva! : Ponggal

It's hard to realize how lucky you are when it has stuck with you for 18 years of your life.

Living in a multi cultural society where mouth-watering food are everywhere on the strret.

Isnt that something?

Screw the politics. It's best if i skipped this one.

You cant deny that Malaysia is one of the wonderful place to live in.

So this year, giving that i get to see lots of interesting celebrations,

I've decided to carry out a project :

M'sia Festiva!

In fact, i got more projects for my blog.(so that people do not have to remind me to update SLM)

=P Hohoho.

Just wait & see.

So last week my school held this little competition.

We heard it's a cooking competition.

Ended up seeing Indians cooking rice in a pot on the floor.

Not to mention all colourful patterns on the floor.

Then my Tamil fren passed me a scoop of sweet rice named Pongal.

Just like the day they are celebrating "Hari Pongal"

It also mean "boiling over".

WOW!

One word can actually have so many meanings in Tamil.

Not bad.

It looks something like that.

Sweet rice cooked with milk,sugar,jaggery and more in an open pot.

Once it is ready, it is tempered with raisins& cashew nuts fried in ghee.

Then it is offered to God on a new banana leaf along with sugarcane, grain and my favorite,

SWEET POTATOES!

To be frank, even as a malaysian, i heard it for the 1st time.

Ok (lar). Shame on me(lor).

Basically it signals the end of the farming season and dedicated to the Sun God named Surya,

thanking for the solar deity for the good harvest and consecrate the first grain to the God.

The boiling over of milk and rice in a pot symbolizes material abundance for the household.

And it is usually celebrated around 14th of January for 4 days .

AIMST did it late obviously.

The most interesting part about this celebration is no doubt their "KOLAMs"

The ground patterns made out of rice flour.

It is auspicious to draw them before the sunrice so than Surya,The Sun God can see them & bless them.

The idea behind using rice flour is that insects would feed on it & bless it too.

I used to see these colourful pattern-ful thingy on the street to Youth Park in Penang.

No.I still see them.

I wonder why they never go off with the rain.

Hmmm...

the "1" Malaysia Kolam.

"Kachak" for my friends.

And i call it a day.

I got a friend who said to me before.

Blogging is not easy especially when you are stuck in a place surrounded with paddy field,

and throwing pebbles to the pond became something fun.

No.

I do not want to be on the same page as her.

But im changing my new year resolution no.6:

December has always been a joyful month for us all.

Tangyuan.

Christmas.

Turkey Dinner.

Vacation.

But none of this has EVER EVER included BOOKS!

Attending lectures in December could be depressing.

when i first saw "AIMST Nerd Day" event in my Facebook

I immediately clicked the button "MAYBE ATTENDING"

but inside definitely “NOT ATTENDING".

But who knows.

here we are now.

Miracles happen when you least expect them.

just like what happened to me lately.

It was 2am.i guess??

An enthusiastic friend of mine called me after we walked back to our hostel.

that cute little friend must be so shocked that time,

cos here is what she said:

so strange."

THAT's ALL.

With a blur head, i went down and this is what i saw.

A MOONBOW!!!!

seriously,

i have never ever thought of the existence of a moonbow.

Even my roomate got teased when he thought of this before.

i thought it was a ozone hole at first,

till i saw the 7 colours that can excite every single cells in my body!

so i dragged down my DSLR together with my buy-one-free-one package.

sadly, not many people got the chance to see this.

in my least favorite of a HOT & SPICY CURRY. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Gee.my brain is totally being dumped into the recyle bin until it’s restored back days before,

First I will admit i haven done somethings from my to-do list ,

some of the MANY MANY THINGS i mean.

n prestudying pre-u books is no doubt still standing tall in the list.

Yet,i’ve taken some part time jobs after i’ve cleared my big square head of seeing human’s teeth 4 d rest of my life.

Tot i nvr needed a rest.

Then i couldnt take it no more n turned Pixus down several times.=P

Lekjian nvr learnt hw 2 relax himself does he.muahaha.
