Let me tell you what.
You haven tasted the best cake in M’sia until you have been to this heavenly place for your tongue in Malacca.
Open your eyes and mouth BIG WIDE.
These are not just ordinary cakes.
They are MILLE CREPE,the only kind of thousand layered cake sold in NADEJE.
only 2 shops operating there now.
It’s the other reason for all of us to travel from all different states to Malacca.

it’s time for lecture.
“Mille” means a thousand layer in French while “Crepe” means curled.(i have no idea why)
They say you can feel the “thousand” layered melt in your mouth right after you put the cake inside your mouth,
i say they over exaggerated.
but it’s really the BEST cake i’ve ever tasted.
it just tastes sooooo FRESH!
containing cream yet you won’t feel disgust by it.
everything is just at its right amount. and guess what?
it’s only rm7.50/piece!
I’ve totally forgotten the price when we’ve put our finger on the cold plate of it.
I’ve always thought of secret recipe when it comes to cake,and now it’s changed.
HEY! you gonna believe what the cake-kaholic says ok?? LOLZ!

It was close to my brother and friend’s birthday when we visit there.
So we gave them not-surprise-at-all’s surprise there.
But they gonna blow the candles at the speed of the wind else it’d affects the freshness of the cake.

After we are back from Malacca, we’ve heard that Austin Chase is selling mille crepe too.
So we gave it shot.
I’ve tasted mille crepe thrice so far.
And i remember the tastes of them all perfectly.
Austin Chase definitely got their cakes from Humble Beginning.
i only feel like im eating a thousand layer of plastic with cream applied on it.
look at the “sinking” cake.

ReplyDeleteBelieve Austin Chase did not maintain Humble Beginnings Mille Crepes well. Heard they stopped supplying Austin Chase already as too many complaints.
